Bringing Beauty Into Focus

Bringing Beauty Into Focus

"Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us, or we find it not."

Exploring Runs in the Family

When you’re born into a family of photographers and pilots, traveling with curiosity and camera-in-hand becomes an intrinsic part of life – practically second nature. But, what started simply as travel scrapbook material, later became an important way of daily living. And, while my roots are firmly planted in Colorado, I have had the opportunity to journey across this amazing world of ours, taking photographs of incredible and beautiful nature.

Photography as Meditation

Much of my current work revolves around a way to connect more fully with the planet – to absorb as much of nature as I can, reveling in the beauty that is around me. Now, I can share with others what I have observed and gleaned that has given me a renewed sense of joy and wellbeing.

The PhotoGal2020 Website

For many years, I’ve thought of having an accessible platform where I can share my love of nature, and now meditative photography, with others. I’m elated to share with you images I find as I curate my many years of photographs, and as I craft my version of a photoblog with a meditative twist!

Mother Nurture (Future)

This platform will soon become an extension of my belief in the healing power of giving. I will be adding a store with a select group of photographs for purchase. These images will showcase the diversity of nature’s marvels and all profits will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund.

A future project for Mother Nurture will be an application that shares daily a photo capturing nature’s beauty. Hopefully, this daily ritual of kindness can have a positive butterfly effect on others.

Stay tuned!
