African Wild Dog populations are in a likely irreversible decline, putting it on the sad list of endangered species.   While sometimes confused with hyenas, these wild dogs each have their own unique mottled coat and sport big round ears and have only four toes, rather than five like other dogs.  These were photographed in Botswana.
