We look to the heavens for such things as peace, answers, understanding and perspective.  On any given night there exists the opportunity to lose yourself among the stars.  However, there is nothing quite like an ephemeral spectacle like the aurora borealis or a solar eclipse to reveal our infinitesimal spot on this beautiful pale blue dot called earth that floats in this universe where we temporarily reside.
